Renée J. Schomp is the Deputy Director of Justice Catalyst.

She manages the Justice Catalyst Fellowship program and does philanthropic advising in order to help launch and support early-stage projects at new and existing public interest organizations and agencies throughout the U.S. In addition, she works at Justice Catalyst Access Fund, a public interest litigation finance nonprofit that executes recoverable grants and non-recourse loans in support of litigation at nonprofit and public interest law firms.

Before joining Justice Catalyst, Renée launched an innovative nonprofit housing initiative focused on fomenting small housing as a part of the solution to our national housing crisis that serves as a pilot model for replication by cities throughout California, the U.S. and Canada. Before that she supported nonprofits in designing collaborative strategies, programs and partnerships focused on a wide range of social and economic justice legal initiatives as the Director of Strategic Partnerships at OneJustice. Renée holds a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and is admitted to practice law in California.
