Marie Evelyn Sheehan

Marie is a Justice Catalyst fellow at Street Democracy where she directs the Property Tax Appeal Project (PTAP).PTAP aims to close the racial wealth gap by appealing municipal over assessment of property taxes, which disproportionately over-taxes Black and Latinx homeowners putting them at an increased risk of tax foreclosure.
