Joseph will join the National Immigration Project of the National Lawyers Guild, where he will work with immigrant communities to challenge unconstitutional police practices at the border.
Joseph is a graduate of Yale Law School, where he participated in the Worker and Immigrant Rights Advocacy Clinic and the Criminal Justice Clinic. He clerked for the Hon. Beverly Martin of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the Hon. Jesus G. Bernal of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Before law school, Joseph worked as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Costa Rica and a paralegal at the Federal Defenders of New York.
